The Exponent 500 is a compact amp head capable of delivering 500 watts of power @ 4Ohms and operating with a principle of fully configurable "presets" (amp, cabinets, compressor, tuner and effects).
Imagine a powerful multi-effects / amp simulator, programmable and equipped with a power amp, all housed in a bass bag.
It also offers a headphone output and midi control. The Exponent 500 comes pre-loaded with five versatile factory presets. Using e500 with the "Darkglass Suite" application is not necessary, but unlocks all the extraordinary potential of the Exponent 500 by providing an interface to interact and modify the signal chain running on each preset. Use the iOS or Android versions of the Darkglass Suite to create, edit, share and apply presets. Please make sure your version of the Darkglass Suite is 4.3.0 or newer! The USB-C port unlocks the capabilities of the Exponent 500's USB audio interface and allows software updates through the Darkglass Suite. USB MIDI in / out is also supported.
