The Markbass 801 is a subtle blend of compactness, ease of use and sound quality.
Only two knobs (Level and VPF) can manage the sound, making it an extremely intuitive amp.
The VPF or Variable Pre-Shape Filter provides a modern "Mid-Scoop" tone, ideal for slapping. You can add the optional "external box" tweeter for an even more defined sound. It also offers an auxiliary input and a headphone output as well as an XLR output. These 50 watts will be comfortable enough to play at home or in an acoustic training.
