The Jackson Audio Optimist is a reproduction of the most legendary of overdrives, namely the Klon Centaur.
The OD1 features impossible germanium diodes to deliver the best possible sound.
OD2 contrasts sharply with the middle tone of OD1. Designed to be perfectly flat across the range of the guitar, OD2 is perfect (with the addition of a Baxandall EQ) for rhythmic work and is a perfect harmonic enhancer for OD1 when you want to boost OD1 even more. The Optimist has MIDI control over all functions! OD1, OD2 and EQ can all be controlled via MIDI for an unlimited selection of tones.
