The sound of the legendary TB-303 in your hands

The TB-03 is a direct descendant of the famous TB-303 Bass Line, with the arrangement of the various controls corresponding exactly to the basic design. However, with further adjustments, Roland pushes it further than its predecessor: its LED display allows you to program faster and more precisely, while the overdrive and delay create a powerful sound that will delight your audience.

The authentic familiar sound thanks to Roland's ACB technology

Thanks to ACB (Analog Circuit Behavior) technology, the Roland TB-03 exactly emulates the expressive, powerful and organic sound of the TB-303, with a few surprises in store. It contains the square and sawtooth signals of the 303, with its essential controls: Tuning, Cutoff, Resonance, Envelope Mod, Decay and Accent.

A classic sequencer with advanced components

If you are already familiar with the TB-303, you will immediately find your bearings in the TB-03. Pitch and Time modes are available, with a new Step by Step mode. An LED screen can be used to show the current Step sequence, as well as the exact Tempo. If necessary, the internal sequencer can be controlled with the Trigger Input. The fact that the sequencer no longer stops when you switch between playback mode and recording mode gives you completely new possibilities for live performances.

New features compared to the original

Numerous overdrive, delay and reverb effects provide an ever-changing sound in the TB-03. And with the Step-Write, Shuffle and Fine Tuning functions, programming patterns just got a whole lot easier.

Connect to other instruments

The TB-03 is equipped with MIDI IN and OUT jacks and USB, allowing data to be exchanged with other devices. This makes the TB-03 a flexible controller, especially since analog devices can be controlled through the CV / Gate port. Thanks to the trigger input, accessible from the internal sequencer of the TB-03, this type of control works in both directions.
