IK Multimedia presents the iRig Pre, a compact microphone preamp allowing the use of all types of microphones with iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.
Thanks to this universal microphone interface, you can use any static or dynamic microphone, the iRig Pre being equipped with a standard XLR connector and a 9V battery for + 48V phantom power (15h autonomy continuous announced).
In addition to a gain adjustment dial, the iRig Pre also offers a 3.5mm stereo mini-jack headphone output and a Velcro strap that allows the preamp to be hung on a microphone stand.
