Corelli Crystal strings are available in 3 tensions: MEDIUM LIGHT, MEDIUM and FORTE. The MEDIUM tension is suitable for most instruments and the same tension can be used for all 4 strings. If the sound does not give complete satisfaction, in all cases, the use of the LIGHT or FORTE tension can improve the sound in a definite favorable direction. The definition of the tensions allows to use different tensions from one string to another on the same instrument
Choice:
Due to their sonic characteristics, it is quite possible to mix Corelli Crystal strings with steel or gut strings, or with Corelli Alliance Vivace strings. This advantage offers new possibilities of balance of the instrument and the sound.
