A Nashville Fingerboard in Morges

All Novo guitars are handcrafted in Nashville, under the direct supervision of founder Dennis Fano. If that name rings a bell, it’s no wonder – Fano is one of the most respected luthiers in the boutique guitar world, known for his retro-looking, modern-performance creations.

At Novo, nothing is left to chance. Each instrument is crafted with ultra-light woods, “tempered” necks and bodies (a roasting technique sometimes found under the name roasted or baked) and an ultra-fine nitrocellulose finish that gives that irresistible vintage look… but without the phoniness.

The result? A guitar that resonates freely, with immediate playability, as if you’d known it all your life.

Exceptional handling

What strikes you when you pick up a NOVO is the immediate feeling of familiarity. The neck is worked to give the impression of an instrument already played, like an old guitar you’d find again after years. No need to play it for months, it’s ready to use and you can hear it from the very first notes.

Three ranges, three approaches

Novo offers several editions, but they all start from the same premise:

• The Nucleus Series: predefined configurations, designed according to musicians’ most frequent requests. This is NOVO’s “standard” range, but it’s a far cry from the industrial Series.
• The Custom Series: built in the same workshops as the Nucleus, but with more advanced options. Pickups, pickguards, binding, special finishes, figurative sleeves… everything you need to indulge yourself without going overboard.
• Limited editions: this is the realm of one-off pieces. Non-catalog finishes, novel combinations, subtle details… this is for collectors or those who like to think outside the box.
