The Taylor 454ce is a Grand Auditorium 12-string designed for harmonic depth and versatility.
Developed by Taylor Guitars, it combines generous projection with excellent definition, ideal for both solo and accompaniment playing.
The Indian rosewood back and sides, combined with a Sitka spruce top, produce a wide sound spectrum with warm lows, clear highs and abundant harmonics. The rendering is typically 12-string, with a natural brilliance effect and great depth.
The V-Class bracing enhances volume, sustain and note precision along the entire length of the neck, guaranteeing excellent trueness, even in the complex registers typical of 12-strings.
Aesthetically, the 454ce features a brilliant finish, Finial inlays on the ebony fingerboard, an agoya shell rosette and an imitation tortoiseshell pickguard. The white binding emphasizes the instrument's elegant lines.
The Taylor Expression System 2 (ES2) electronics ensure faithful, clear amplified reproduction, suitable for both live and studio performances. The instrument comes with a deluxe hard case.
