The Taylor 454ce Next Generation is aimed at guitarists in search of a modern, precise and harmonically rich 12-string.
Developed by Taylor Guitars, it combines classic lutherie with recent innovations for optimum performance.
The Indian rosewood back and sides, combined with a Sitka spruce top, offer an extended sound response with warm lows, clear highs and a harmonically rich spectrum. Rendering is typically 12-string, with natural brilliance and Sonic depth.
The V-Class bracing enhances volume, sustain and trueness along the entire length of the neck, guaranteeing excellent note definition and harmonic consistency even in the most complex playing.
The instrument is also distinguished by its high-end finishes: Finial inlays on the ebony fingerboard, agoya shell rosette, white binding and imitation tortoiseshell pickguard. The high-gloss finish enhances the model's elegance.
The Taylor Expression System 2 (ES2) ensures faithful amplified reproduction, suitable for both stage and studio. The set comes with a deluxe hard case.
