The Taylor Gold Label 814e embodies a new vision of Taylor sound, blending exceptional craftsmanship, premium woods and design innovations.
It inaugurates the new Super Auditorium format, a slightly larger evolution of the famous Grand Auditorium, offering more power while retaining a warmth and richness of sound inspired by traditional guitars.
Honduras rosewood back and sides combine with a torrefied Sitka spruce top to produce deep basses, precise highs and a rich harmonic palette whose overtones unfold naturally as the notes resonate. Inside, the new generation of V-Class bracing enhances projection, prolongs sustain and guarantees remarkable trueness along the entire length of the neck. The new long-tenon neck joint optimizes vibration transmission and enables highly precise tuning.
Aesthetically, this Super Auditorium adopts a renewed elegance with Continental inlays, a new pickguard, veined ivoroid purflings and Gotoh 510 tuners in antique chrome finish with ebony buttons. It is equipped with the LR Baggs Element VTC electro-acoustic system and comes in a deluxe hard case with British Cocoa exterior.
