Featuring the traditional X bracing pattern favored by Bob in his early days, the 815e offers a warm and richly textured tone with clear highs, nice lows as well as a slight dip in the mids, all complemented by beautifully blossoming overtones . The modern Taylor neck profile provides a pleasant feel and good grip. This model features the stylish accessories that Bob installed on his original models, a white border, a three-ring rosette in green abalone, ebony bridge pins with green abalone dots, a Faux tortoiseshell pickguard, shiny finish body and neck, and unengraved mother-of-pearl inlays on the Large Diamond fingerboard. It is equipped with an LR Baggs Element VTC pickup with volume and tone controls mounted inside the soundboard. It comes with a luxury case.
