This new L-00 Special, made in Bozeman, Montana, makes the Gibson USA experience more accessible without compromising on quality.
Its construction combines solid mahogany back and sides with a solid Sitka spruce top, reinforced by the traditional scalloped X-bracing. This choice of wood delivers a remarkably well-balanced sound, with beautiful dynamics, rich midrange and precise bass. Its compact format, with its narrow waist, favors a fast response and a tighter low register, ideal for fingerstyle, blues and all the nuances of acoustic playing.
The useful neck, assembled using the traditional dovetail joint with hot glue, features a particularly comfortable and fast SlimTaper profile. Combined with a rosewood Fingerboard, it guarantees excellent playability and an immediate grip.
Designed for the stage as well as the studio, the L-00 Special features the L.R. Baggs Element pickup system, faithful and natural, with a volume control discreetly integrated into the rosette. Its Satin Vintage Sunburst finish in nitrocellulose varnish elegantly underlines its timeless design.
