The Taylor 814ce Next Generation represents the evolution of Taylor Guitars' flagship model in the Grand Auditorium format.
Designed to offer an optimum balance between playing comfort, projection and sound versatility, this version incorporates several improvements geared to the needs of modern guitarists.
The classic combination of Sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides produces a rich, balanced sound spectrum. It offers clear highs, deep lows and generous harmonics, suitable for a wide variety of styles.
Inside, the scalloped V-Class bracing enhances power, sustain and harmonic alignment of notes along the entire length of the neck. Comfort is also optimized thanks to a rosewood armrest with rounded profile and the new Action Control Neck with long tenon, designed to offer precise adjustment and excellent vibration transmission.
Claria electronics, with controls discreetly placed in the rosette, provide intuitive control of amplified sound, notably thanks to a midrange contour adjustment facilitating timbre adjustment in amplified situations.
Finishes include Element inlays on the fingerboard, rosewood pickguard, maple purfling and a gloss finish throughout. The instrument comes in a deluxe hard case.
