A true icon since 1937, the Gibson SJ-200 Standard Autumn Burst embodies the legacy of the "King of Flat-Tops".
Adopted by generations of artists, from country pioneers to Rock legends, it has established itself as one of the most iconic Acoustic guitars ever conceived, as much for its aesthetics as for its signature sound.
This Standard version continues this tradition with exceptional craftsmanship. Its AAA figured maple back and sides, combined with a solid Sitka spruce top, deliver a full, powerful and perfectly projected sound. The high-gloss nitrocellulose varnish enhances the finish while promoting the instrument's natural resonance.
The two-piece maple neck, reinforced by a walnut core, offers stability and comfort thanks to its pleasantly rounded profile in the hand. The elegantly edged rosewood fingerboard accommodates 20 frets and the emblematic mother-of-pearl inlays in the shape of a graduated crown, the model's unmistakable visual signature.
On the hardware side, the Headstock proudly displays the Gibson logo and mother-of-pearl crown. Gold-plated Grover® Rotomatic Tuners ensure reliable, precise tuning stability, complemented by a TUSQ® nut. Finally, the iconic pickguard and Moustache™ bridge complete the unique identity of this legendary guitar.
