Developed in collaboration with Molly Tuttle, the D-X2E transposes the aesthetics and feel of her vintage instrument into an accessible and versatile version by Martin & Co.
Inspired by her 1943 D-18, it features a neck with the typical fast profile of the '40s, combined with a Nut width unheard of in the X Series, offering immediate playing comfort.
Its Solid spruce top, combined with a scalloped X-bracing, delivers clear, balanced projection, while the figured mahogany HPL back and sides ensure robustness and stability in the face of climatic variations. Its refined aesthetic, with vintage sunburst finish, custom oval tuners and moon phase inlays, fully reflects Molly Tuttle's artistic universe.
Equipped with Martin E1 electronics for natural amplification and delivered with a carrying case, this signature guitar combines style, reliability and accessibility for demanding musicians.
