This combination of woods delivers an exceptionally powerful sound, with warm, deep basses, rich, precise mids, and defined but not overpowering highs, for a perfectly balanced sound palette.

Like previous versions, it retains its PLEK'd 24-fret compound radius and fully adjustable, custom-designed solid brass bridge, offering the exceptional playability for which Fodera is renowned, as well as powerful sustain and resonance.

The new Monarch 4 Standard features Dual Coil pickups, designed in collaboration with Seymour Duncan. They deliver a punchy, precise sound, with natural, smooth high mids, and a warmer, more organic tone than a Soapbar-type active pickup. Wired in parallel, they produce a noise-free, single-coil sound with enhanced roundness, and offer the added flexibility of a full single-coil mode to recapture the classic sound of jazz bass pickups.

The Fodera x Trickfish Standard 3-band preamp is the latest version of the Standard Series preamp. Designed for optimum performance, it offers incredibly low noise, musical equalization and active/passive operation for maximum fidelity and flexibility, whether on stage or in the studio.

This combination of pickup and preamp lets you fine-tune your sound, from deep and round to bright and punchy, and all the nuances in between.
