Inspired by the famous Burst reproduced on page 74 of The Beauty of the 'Burst, this 1959 Les Paul by Gibson Custom Shop embodies the culmination of the brand's historic craftsmanship.
Every detail has been recreated with remarkable precision: two-piece carved flamed maple top, one-piece lightweight mahogany body, bone glue assembly and long tenon, for exceptional resonance and authenticity.
Its VOS nitrocellulose finish, perfectly matched to the original model, lends it instant vintage charm.
The mahogany neck with its '50s Rounded Medium C profile offers a comfortable, natural grip. Combined with an Indian rosewood Fingerboard, it guarantees fluid, inspiring playability.
Non-waxed Custombucker pickups with Alnico III magnets restore all the magic of the best 1959 Les Pauls: warmth, harmonic depth, dynamics and remarkable sustain. Every note exudes the character of the most coveted Bursts.
