The Shubb C6B was developed specifically for resonator guitars used in lap or "Hawaiian style", where string action is higher than on a classical guitar. It is suitable for instruments whose strings are generally between 3/8″ and 1/2″ above the fingerboard, requiring a different capo than those used for standard guitars.

Solid support and excellent tuning
Unlike many dobro capodasters, which only clamp the Cordes, the Shubb C6B attaches securely to the instrument's neck. This system ensures even pressure on the strings and guarantees a clear sound, without unwanted vibrations or tuning problems.
The rubber pad reproduces the natural pressure of a finger on the Fingerboard, helping to preserve intonation and sound quality.

Reliable mechanism and precise tuning
This model uses the famous Shubb locking mechanism with adjusting screw, enabling precise tension adjustment to suit the instrument and string action. Alignment takes place directly against the fret, making set-up quick and precise, even when changing key while playing.
