The Boveda 2-Way Air Moisture Management - Small Starter Kit is a simple and effective solution for maintaining ideal humidity levels in a wooden instrument case.
Thanks to patented Boveda technology, the system automatically regulates humidity by releasing or absorbing moisture according to conditions, guaranteeing a stable environment for the instrument.
Unlike traditional humidifiers requiring water or sponges, this system works without maintenance or refilling. Simply place the sachets in the textile holder supplied and then in the instrument case: the system generally maintains a humidity level of around 45% to 55%, considered the ideal zone for preserving wooden instruments.
The kit is particularly suitable for small instruments such as ukuleles, Violins, mandolins or certain wooden wind instruments. By stabilizing humidity, it helps prevent cracking, warping or sticking problems linked to air that's too dry or too humid. Sachets generally last 2 to 6 months, depending on climate and case quality.
