Boveda 2-Way Air Moisture Management - pack of four is a simple, effective solution for protecting wooden instruments against moisture variations.
Each bag uses a patented technology capable of automatically absorbing or releasing moisture, to maintain a stable level in the instrument's case.
Unlike traditional sponge or water humidifiers, Boveda sachets require no refilling or maintenance. They contain a natural solution of purified water and salts that regulate humidity through a process of osmosis. This technology generally maintains a level of around 45% to 55% relative humidity, ideal for preserving guitars, ukuleles, mandolins or other wooden instruments.
Placed directly in the instrument's case, these packs reduce the risk of cracking, warping or sticking problems caused by air that is too dry or too humid. Each pack can last several months, depending on the climate and quality of the case, and is simply replaced when it becomes hard to the touch.
