The Boss GK-5 is a split pickup specially designed for metal-string electric guitars, for use with BOSS guitar synthesizers such as the GM-800 or VG-800.
It replaces older models with a Serial GK digital interface that ensures more stable and accurate signal transmission.
This slim, unobtrusive transducer attaches easily to the Guitar and includes a connection box that attaches securely to the strap knob. Installation may require some minor adjustments, including drilling for the connection box. The GK-5 requires the use of a special Serial GK cable to connect the guitar to the synthesizer.
