The KRK Kreate 5 is a 2-way active proximity monitor with bass-reflex speaker, incorporating a 5″ woven fiberglass woofer for tight bass and accurate mids, and a 1″ textile dome tweeter for detailed, open highs. This architecture ensures balanced diffusion over a wide frequency range, from 58 Hz to 40 kHz. Power, dynamics and sound coverage
The total power of this asset is close to 60 W (around 45 W dedicated to low frequencies and 15 W to high frequencies), with a maximum sound pressure level of around 105 dB SPL, offering enough headroom for critical mixing or listening sessions in small to medium-sized rooms. The monitor offers comprehensive connectivity including balanced XLR, TRS 6.35 mm jack and unbalanced RCA inputs, enabling it to be easily linked to audio interfaces, consoles or a variety of sources.
