The WA-14 is an authentic recreation of the very rare EB-circuit style 414 microphone, the most faithful studio microphone of all time.
Ideal for capturing the natural sound of performances with minimal coloring and smooth highs, the WA-14 delivers the same sonic performance as the original - a favorite of artists such as The Police, Common, Freddie Mercury, and Billy Corgan.
The WA-14 can be used on a wide range of sources, such as intimate and warm lead vocals, acoustic and electric guitars, bass, drums and percussion, strings and orchestral gear, and many more sources. Equipped with a brass CK12 capsule, CineMag USA transformer, and fully discrete signal circuitry, the WA-14 offers the realism and thickness of a vintage microphone, but at an affordable price.
