Definitive Audio VORTEX 2000 All-in-One Line-Array

A powerful, balanced 2.1 system

The Definitive Audio Vortex 2000 is based on a 2.1 configuration consisting of an 18-inch Bass Reflex subwoofer and eight satellites arranged in a line array. The ensemble develops a total power of around 1000 W RMS, including 600 W dedicated to the subwoofer and 400 W for the satellites. This architecture produces deep, dynamic bass, while ensuring clear midrange and treble to effectively cover a medium-sized space.

A high-performance subwoofer

The subwoofer features a 46 cm speaker with 76 mm voice coil and powerful magnet, offering solid low-frequency reproduction. Integrated Class A/B amplification ensures stable, reliable reproduction. The system also features an adjustable crossover from 80 Hz to 1 kHz and an integrated limiter to protect the system and optimize sound performance depending on the configuration used.

Line array satellites for even distribution

The eight two-way satellites each incorporate two 4-inch speakers accompanied by a 1-inch dome tweeter. This design provides a wide, homogeneous diffusion, ideal for DJ performances, concerts or events requiring good intelligibility of music and voice. Satellites connect easily to the system via Speakon connections to ensure quick and secure installation.

Modern connectivity and versatile use

The Vortex 2000 incorporates a multimedia player with Bluetooth, USB and Micro-SD for streaming music directly from a variety of sources. It also features RCA and XLR/Jack combo inputs for connecting Microphones, Mixing desks or instruments. Independent subwoofer and satellite volume controls make it easy to adapt the system to suit the environment and type of event.
