A specially designed Amplifier system for Korg keyboards

The Korg PaAS 2 (also known as PaAS MK2) is an amplification system dedicated to Korg arrangers such as the Pa5X, Pa4X, Pa3X or Pa3XLe models. It attaches directly to the keyboard and connects via the Smart Connect system, enabling audio signal and power to be transmitted without the need for additional cables. This design guarantees rapid installation and a perfectly integrated unit with the keyboard.

A 3-way audio system with five speakers

The system adopts a 3-way architecture consisting of two 80mm midrange speakers, two tweeters and a 130mm dual-coil subwoofer. This configuration enables bass, midrange and treble to be reproduced with balance to deliver clear, dynamic sound. With a Pa5X keyboard, power reaches around 2 × 30 W for the midrange/treble and 60 W for the subwoofer, offering effective sound diffusion for practice or small performances.

Sound quality and advanced settings

The PaAS 2 benefits from the audio technologies built into Korg keyboards, including Waves MaxxAudio presets and a parametric equalizer. These tools enable the sound to be adapted to suit the environment or musical style. The system can also be configured differently from the main outputs to serve as a personal monitor on stage while sending a different mix to the main Sound system.
