The Pioneer DJ XPRS1182ST features an 18-inch Speaker with 3-inch long-excursion voice coil, specially designed to reproduce low frequencies with power and precision. Its Class D amplification can reach up to 4000 W peak, enabling the cabinet to produce a maximum sound pressure of around 130 dB. This power ensures deep, dynamic low frequencies capable of effectively supporting a sound system at concerts, DJ parties or large-scale events.

DSP processing and sound modes

The subwoofer incorporates a DSP processor with three operating modes: Boost, Extended LF and Normal. These presets enable the subwoofer's response to be adapted to suit the environment or musical style. The adjustable low-pass filter at 80 Hz, 100 Hz or 120 Hz also facilitates integration with different satellite speakers to achieve a perfectly balanced system.

Rugged construction for the stage

The Pioneer DJ XPRS1182ST features a solid plywood cabinet designed to withstand the stresses of transport and heavy use. Its metal Chord chart effectively protects the Speaker, while side handles facilitate handling during mobile installations. The cabinet also incorporates an M20 thread for mounting a satellite speaker on a stand directly above the subwoofer.
