Our workshop carries out complete overhauls, mechanical adjustments, deep cleanings and all the repairs needed to keep your instrument running smoothly. Whether you play flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone or any other wind instrument, we work on both metal and wood with the same exacting standards. While regular maintenance by the musician is essential for the hygiene and longevity of the instrument, mechanical adjustment requires the intervention of a trained specialist. Guillain, trained at the Institut Technologique Européen des Métiers de la Musique, has over 10 years' experience in instrument making. Training with masters from Buffet Crampon and Selmer.
From flute to tuba, saxophone to trombone, we work on all wind instruments, with the same exacting standards and precision. Professional equipment on site.

While learning the saxophone, Guillain developed a passion for mechanics and the making of instruments when, as a university art history student, he took his instrument to a repair shop.
He then decides to stop university to follow the training in instrumental making, wind instruments option, provided at the European Technological Institute for Music Professions. He learned the trade from an apprenticeship master passionate about old instruments, who himself was trained in the workshops of Buffet Crampon, Selmer.
For a few years, he managed a music store specializing in wind instruments in the south of France. He then decides to join the Boullard Musique team where he can both offer his expert advice to customers for the purchase of their wind instrument and also devote himself to repair.
What fascinates Guillain is to understand how the instrument works at the mechanical level, to do the disassembly / reassembly, the adjustments, to know the influence of materials.
