Proven fully automatic technology is redesigned. Thanks to the use of new materials and new manufacturing methods, the performance of turntables made in Germany from the Black Forest improves considerably.

Tonearm technology:
A new development, the internal wiring of the Dual E tonearm (asy), ensures smooth tonearm tracking and brilliant sound. The tone arm bearing has also been completely revised. The detachable, twist-resistant headstock is made of carbon fiber, suitable for mics with 1/2 '' (13mm) mount.

Chassis technology:
The solid wood MDF console in combination with a floating subframe (tonearm, turntable and automatic float) absorbs all forms of vibration and impact noise. The completely revised console is part of the new development of the 458 and serves only one person to dramatically increase the sonic performance in the upper spheres. Supplied with Audio Technica AT-91E cartridge (MM).

The icing on the cake, the Dual CS 458 EV turntable has an integrated phono preamplifier and can be directly connected to a hi-fi stereo amplifier that does not have a phono input.

Drive technology:
A DC motor with electronic speed control is used to drive the plate, which drives the vibration-damped aluminum platter via a ground flat belt. The electronic speed monitoring is completely new, the synchronism has been further improved, the sound image benefits from an even better balance.
