In 1985, Pearl launched their legendary MLX drums under the Professional Series banner to showcase the powerful sound of maple. Today, the Professional Series returns with the spirit of the original and a refreshed presence for experienced drummers. Featuring advanced hardware combined with premium quality shells to create a ready-to-use drum kit. With just the right amount of 'Modern Vintage' to give it multi-genre versatility, this is a kit suitable for active gigs and tours. Its EvenPly-Six (5.4mm) North American maple shell is designed for lively sonic warmth and diffuses a wide spectrum of frequencies in performance. Pearl's classic RL Lug, OptiMount tom hanger system, 2.3mm SuperHoop II Triple-Flanged hoops and Remo UT Pinstripe heads are added for strength and stability.
