The ATV AD5 module is the sound heart of aDrums electronic drum kits, renowned for its outstanding audio quality and extensive compatibility with pads from leading brands.

Thanks to its high-end design, the aD5 module offers an expressive and realistic playing experience, perfectly suited to demanding drummers.

The ATV AD5 stands out for its ultra-responsive sound engine, capable of reproducing all the dynamics of acoustic playing, from pianissimo to fortissimo. Sounds are captured in high-resolution stereo in natural acoustic environments, offering a richness of timbre and authentic resonance. The module comes with five pre-loaded premium kits, and can be enhanced via the ATV Sound Store online platform.

Designed with interoperability in mind, the aD5 supports pads and cymbals from numerous manufacturers, including Roland, Yamaha and of course ATV. It offers ready-to-use set-ups for over 50 third-party models, making it easy to integrate into custom kits.

The module's ergonomics are simple and straightforward: a central thumbwheel, a clear display and a Trigger Setup Wizard make it easy to get started. The automatic calibration system detects and corrects cross-talk effects, ensuring reliable response even in complex setups.

On the connectivity side, the aD5 module offers comprehensive options for studio or live integration:
