Designed for touring
Touring instruments have it tough, on stage and on the road. Since 2011, professional drummers have subjected the SPD-SX to the test of fire, both in crowded clubs and in the world's largest stadiums. The SPD-SX PRO continues this legacy, incorporating years of user feedback to make it even better. With its customizable LEDs, large color display, and flawless triggers, you can count on it night after night.
Customizable LEDs for pads
When the lights dim in the room, the PRO lights up. Customizable pad-identifying LEDs, plus bright trigger indicators, let you distinguish all nine pads on the darkest stages. No need for fluorescent strips! You can assign horizontal or vertical light markers from the ten preset colors, or create and name your own assortments. Group bass drums, snare drums, playbacks and clicks with their own color codes. And set the horizontal pad light markers to be constantly lit, or only when the pad is struck, or to flash dynamically depending on the WAV file chosen.
A color LCD display
Playing in the dark is becoming less and less of a problem. The SPD-SX PRO incorporates a large color display with different types of backlit function buttons, and a thumbwheel for quick sound selection. This screen displays essential information in real time: A & B sample overlays, WAV sample names, playback progress, etc.
