Specification
The Meinl Sonic Energy Octave Steel Tongue Drum is made from high quality stainless steel. It has a central bass note in the middle plus eight other notes around it. These eight notes each consist of two reeds that deliver the tone in two octaves. This creates a wonderful, meditative sound similar to the tone of a handpan. At the bottom of the drum you will find the sound hole, which can be closed with a silicone stopper to make the sound even more compact. There are also three silicone feet at the bottom to prevent the drum from slipping. You can play the Octave Steel Tongue Drum with mallets or with your fingers. Simply place it on a flat surface or in your lap to start playing.
The drum includes two wooden mallets with rubber heads and a nice carrying bag with zipper and handle.
