Inside the Ocean Drum are many small metal and plastic balls that dance above the head as the drum moves and create sound effects reminiscent of ocean waves. Since one side is covered with natural skin and the other with synthetic skin, the Sela Ocean Drum can produce two completely different tones. Thanks to a closable opening in the frame, the quantity of beads and therefore the volume and response of the drum can be individually adjusted.
