The Paramount PO-220E combines state-of-the-art craftsmanship with vintage-inspired hardware, offering the best of both worlds.
Built with a solid cedar top combined with solid mahogany back and sides, the PO-220E features an offset X-bracing that has been carefully refined to optimize resonance and tone.
A Fender and Fishman-designed pickup amplifies the warm, midrange-centric tone of the PO-220E, whose orchestral shape has been redesigned, while the soundhole-mounted controls retain the vintage aesthetic. Beneath the soundboard, a body-sensing pickup enhances soundboard vibrations, which can then be blended with the Sonicore pickup beneath the soundboard.
Updated cosmetic elements include snowflake pearl inlays on the Fingerboard, feather purfling, rosette and backplate. The PO-220E also features an ovangkol bridge and fingerboard, slim mahogany neck, bone headstock nut and bridge nut, and comes in a hard case.
