The Gibson L-00 Special continues the legacy of the iconic small format introduced in 1932, offering a made-in-the-USA acoustic guitar at an affordable price.
Made in Bozeman, Montana, this L-00 features an all-solid mahogany body with a Sitka spruce top, supported by a hand-carved X-bracing for a balanced, responsive sound.
Its compact-sized body produces precise projection with tightened basses, ideal for fingerstyle, blues and many other styles.
The SlimTaper neck profile offers outstanding playing comfort, while the 12" radius rosewood fingerboard accommodates 19 frets and discreet mother-of-pearl fingerboard markers. The rectangular rosewood bridge is fitted with a TUSQ® nut and pegs, and the set is completed by Grover® Mini Rotomatic® Tuners for impeccable tuning stability. Satin nitrocellulose finish (Satin Vintage Sunburst or Satin Wine Red), with single binding on top and back.
Equipped with a L.R. Baggs™ Element Bronze piezo pickup with active preamp and discreet volume control in the rosette, the L-00 Special is ready for stage and studio straight out of its included premium soft case.
