The Classic Vibe™ Active '70s Jazz Bass® V is inspired by the basses that defined the Funk sounds of the 1970s, adding a preamp for the ultimate combination of vintage looks and modern performance, with a pair of Fender Designed™ alnico Noiseless™ J Bass® pickups for a punchy, hum-free signal.
The preamp offers controls for volume, pickup mix, treble and bass boost, plus a toggle to switch between active and passive for complete control.
Other details include a HiMass™ bridge for optimum resonance, a Fingerboard with block inlays, rich-looking nickel-plated hardware and a vintage-tinted glossy neck finish for an old-school vibe.
