Based on a faithful reissue of the legendary 1959 ES-355, it features an exclusive Inverness Green finish, combined with a Murphy Lab Ultra Heavy Aged treatment that gives it the look and personality of an instrument that has endured decades on stage.
The ES-355 represents the most luxurious model in the ES™ family. It features the iconic semi-hollow construction, renowned for its harmonic depth and resistance to feedback, as well as exceptional sonic versatility thanks to its two independent humbuckers. It also features an ebony fingerboard adorned with '50s-style mother-of-pearl block inlays, gold-plated hardware and the iconic Split Diamond inlay on the headstock.
The Ultra Heavy Aged work handcrafted by Murphy Lab artisans goes far beyond a simple relic. Every detail - cracked varnish, marked wear, oxidized hardware - faithfully reproduces the natural aging of an original ES-355 from the late '50s. The result is an instrument of exceptional visual and tactile character, impossible to reproduce identically.
