This reissue of the legendary 1958 ES-335 pays tribute to the first semi-hollow guitar to go into series production, a model imagined by Ted McCarty and since adopted by major artists such as B.B.
King, Eric Clapton and Larry Carlton.
This anniversary version benefits from Murphy Lab's thermo-heated treatment, which faithfully reproduces the look, resonance and feel of an instrument that has spanned the decades. Its Dirty Blonde finish highlights the iconic semi-hollow construction, while the wide, rounded neck profile typical of 1958 provides a full, authentic grip. The edgeless Fingerboards, specific to the first ES-335s, further enhance the historic character of this reissue.
Produced in a strictly limited quantity of just 130 in this finish to celebrate Gibson's 130th anniversary, this ES-335 comes in a five-lock brown and pink Lifton case, true to the period models. A Collectible instrument, designed to deliver the sound, feel and aesthetics of one of the most influential guitars in history.
