Released in 1974 and manufactured for over 14 years, the Roland Space Echo RE-201 is one of the most legendary and sought-after effects in the history of music.
Renowned for its rhythmic and distinct echo effects, warmth, and highly musical sonic quirks, this magnetic tape-based classic has inspired musicians, producers and sound engineers for over 40 years.
With the RE-2, the authentic sounds and behaviors of the Space Echo are now available as a compact BOSS pedal. The RE-2 brings the magic of the RE-201 to life in a pedal adapted to Pedalboards and meticulously crafted by the company that designed the original machine.
