The Player II Modified Stratocaster® HSS is a classical guitar designed for modern musicians. Everything about the neck is designed for fast, fluid playability, from the modern "C" profile with a silky satin urethane finish on the back, to the comfortable 9.5" radius one-piece rosewood or maple fingerboard with smooth rolled edges and 22 jumbo medium frets. The alder body delivers classic Fender punch. The Player II Modified humbucker pickup is articulated with plenty of power, while the noiseless™ pickups offer classic Strat® chime and sparkle while eliminating unwanted noise. For additional tonal flexibility, the 2tone control's push/pull switch separates the humbucker pickup from the bridge for classic Strat® single-coil sounds. The 2-point tremolo, short tuning forks, TUSQ® Nut and modern string tree ensure incredibly stable tuning, while the wider stroke of the Scale length tremolo block enables players to get even more expressive, musical vibrato from their instrument.
