The Electro-Voice ZLX-12-G2 features a 12-inch Speaker combined with a 1.4-inch titanium compression driver. This 2-way configuration ensures clear, dynamic sound reproduction, capable of effectively covering mids and highs while delivering solid bass. The speaker can reach a maximum sound pressure level of around 125 dB and has a frequency response ranging from approximately 55 Hz to 20 kHz, guaranteeing balanced sound for music and voice.

Power and amplifier compatibility

Designed to work with an external Amplifier, the loudspeaker supports 250 W continuous power and up to 1000 W peak power with a nominal impedance of 8 ohms. It is particularly suited to DSP-equipped amplifiers, including Dynacord models compatible with the EV Speaker Database, optimizing system performance and protection.

Broad, homogeneous sound coverage

Thanks to its optimized horn, the ZLX-12-G2 offers 90° x 60° dispersion, enabling sound to be spread evenly throughout the room. This sound coverage ensures that audiences enjoy clear, balanced listening, whether at concerts, events or fixed installations in bars, clubs or places of worship.

Rugged design and easy transport

The tough polypropylene cabinet combined with a metal Chord chart effectively protects the internal components while maintaining a relatively light weight of around 14 kg. The speaker features a standard 35 mm base for speaker stands, and can also be used as a stage monitor thanks to its angled design. This robust, portable construction makes it ideal for event providers and mobile systems.
