The Yamaha YCL-255 clarinet is a great beginner clarinet.
Its fairly light ABS body is ideal for children.

The new adjustable thumb rest makes it easy to adapt to different hand sizes, giving the musician greater comfort and helping them develop their own playing technique.
The thumb support is equipped with a ring for string allowing young musicians to have a better hold of the instrument and to relieve the thumb.
New design of the pavilion:
The new horn is entirely made from an ABS resin, without metal strapping, making it possible to lighten the instrument. A resonance chamber, unique in its kind, placed inside the horn greatly increases the projection and improves the accuracy and quality of the bass.
Barrel design:
The 65mm barrel is similar in design to our Custom V-Series models. It produces a centered tone, faster response.
