The Catalinbread Skewer is a copy of Hornby-Skewes' Treble Booster equipped with a silicon transistor for a biting sound, capable of going through any mix.
You can also vary the amount of gain from the transistor to get a bit more juice.
Other upgrades include a noise reduction filter and an anti-pop switching circuit.
