The Yamaha AG06 MK2 is a 6-channel Mixing desk with integrated USB audio interface, designed by Yamaha for content creators, streamers, podcasters and musicians wishing to go beyond mono-microphone setup.

A direct evolution of the original AG06, this second generation brings USB-C connectivity, improved internal circuitry and a new Mute button, consolidating its place as a benchmark in the AG Series.

Two simultaneous Microphone inputs for dialogue and interviews

The major difference between the AG06 MK2 and its little sister the AG03 MK2 lies in its two Microphone/line channels in XLR/jack 6.35 mm combo format, both equipped with independently switchable 48V phantom power. This means that two Condenser Mics can be connected simultaneously, opening the door to two-voice podcasts, face-to-face interviews, vocal performances with instruments or even recordings of small musical ensembles. Channel 2 is also switchable to Hi-Z input to accommodate a guitar or bass directly without DI.

24-bit / 192 kHz audio quality and D-PRE preamp

As on the entire AG MK2 Series, audio conversion quality reaches 24-bit / 192 kHz thanks to the adoption of USB-C connectivity and an overhaul of the internal circuitry. Yamaha's D-PRE microphone preamplifier guarantees clean, transparent gain, equally appreciated for vocals and acoustic instruments. Outputs include four 6.35 mm jacks, two RCA outputs, a stereo headphone output and a 4-pole TRRS smartphone mini-jack, offering connectivity to suit all setups.

DSP effects, LOOPBACK and software included

An internal DSP processor manages the 1-Touch compressor/EQ, SPX reverb and guitar amp simulator in real time, all finely adjustable via the AG Controller software (Windows, Mac, iOS). The LOOPBACK function mixes the PC return into the streaming stream, and the Mute button instantly mutes the Microphone inputs, controllable via optional FC5 footswitch. The AG06 MK2 is supplied with Cubase AI and WaveLab Cast, and runs on external battery power via its USB-C port for on-the-go use.
