The RAV Rope Braid has been specially designed for RAV Vast steel drums to protect the brass strapping, whose shine can naturally fade over time.
It also makes the instrument easier to grip during transport. No discomfort while playing! The string does not cover the body of the Drum, so you can be sure that the sound is not altered in any way. Soft to the touch, the braid also avoids the cold sensation that can be caused by direct contact with the strapping.
