The Electro-Voice EVERSE 8 is a portable, battery-powered active loudspeaker designed by the Electro-Voice brand to offer fully self-contained professional Sound speakers.
This compact model combines high-performance amplification, advanced DSP, Bluetooth connectivity and weather-resistant design to meet the needs of musicians, entertainers and outdoor events.
A powerful, self-contained battery-powered speaker
The Electro-Voice EVERSE 8 features an 8-inch speaker paired with a titanium tweeter. Its Class-D Amplifier delivers around 400 W, enabling a maximum sound pressure level of around 121 dB. Its lithium-ion battery provides up to 12 hours of autonomy at moderate volume, making it ideal for performance without mains power.
An all-in-one system with built-in mixer
The speaker features a true 4-channel digital mixer with integrated effects, 48V phantom power supply and advanced DSP processing. It lets you connect microphones, instruments or audio sources directly without any additional hardware. This versatility makes it particularly suitable for solo artists, entertainers or mobile events.
Bluetooth and control via app
The EVERSE 8 offers Bluetooth streaming as well as full control via the EV QuickSmart Mobile app. This interface lets you adjust levels, effects and EQ remotely, facilitating real-world sound management.
Resistant design and outdoor use
Thanks to its IP43 certification (with input protection), the speaker resists splashes and outdoor use. Its robust polypropylene enclosure and compact design (7.6 kg) ensure great mobility, ideal for busking, ceremonies or outdoor events.
A wide and versatile spread
With a 100° x 100° dispersion, the EVERSE 8 offers wide, even sound coverage. It can be used on a stand, as a stage monitor (55° angle) or inclined for projection adapted to different configurations.
