A powerful, dynamic active loudspeaker

The Electro-Voice EKX-12P features a 12-inch Speaker combined with a 1-inch titanium compression driver. Its Class-D Amplifier delivers up to 1500 W, enabling a maximum sound pressure level of around 132 dB. This configuration guarantees clear, powerful and dynamic sound reproduction, suitable for both live performances and DJ events.

Intuitive, high-performance QuickSmart DSP

The speaker features QuickSmart DSP with LCD display and single encoder control, offering quick and easy navigation. Several presets are available (Music, Live, Speech, Club) as well as an equalizer, filters and precise signal control. This DSP makes it easy to optimize sound rendering according to environment and use.

Precise, even sound distribution

Thanks to its SST (Signal Synchronized Transducers) horn, the EKX-12P offers 90° x 60° dispersion, ensuring uniform, coherent coverage. This technology enables controlled sound projection with excellent intelligibility, even in medium to large spaces.

Rugged, reliable construction

The 15 mm wooden cabinet with EVCoat finish guarantees high impact resistance and enhanced acoustic quality. The speaker features multiple attachment points, a stand base and metal handles for easy transport. An intelligent ventilation system with variable-speed fan ensures reliable operation even under intensive conditions.

Connectivity and system integration

The EKX-12P offers XLR/jack combo inputs, a stereo RCA input and an XLR link output, making it easy to connect different audio sources. It can be used on its own as a main loudspeaker, or combined with subwoofers such as the EKX-15SP or EKX-18SP to create a complete, powerful system.
