The Little Martin is truly an instrument in its own right. This little guitar has many facets and can be a wise choice in many cases.
Its small body and its 59 cm scale (size 3/4) make it the ideal folk guitar for aspiring guitarists from the age of 8.

Lightweight and strong construction

Its construction in laminated wood at very high pressure called HPL makes it particularly solid. It is very useful for travelers because the differences in temperature and humidity can be devastating for the violin making of the instrument. The HPL contains the tone of the instrument, but this is reinforced by a solid Sitka spruce top. This ensures a beautiful projection as well as more precision in the sound spectrum.

Friendly and engaging

I really like taking this guitar on my outdoor trips or to a night out with friends.
It will never replace the rich tone of a full-sized guitar, but its ergonomics and medium-loaded tone make it very engaging and inspiring.

She is doing particularly well in fingerpicking or in bluesy tones, we can feel the origins of Martin as well as the effect of the reduced body. Her retro character won’t appeal to everyone, but I think that’s what makes her so endearing.

The acoustics of this little guitar are not ideal for strumming, but once plugged in, it might surprise you. Amplified, the body no longer has an impact on the sound as important. This is why many artists have adopted it on stage.
