Here, as in all the music of Igor Shamo, beautiful melodies, bewitched by sweet harmonies, enter into polyphony with the backings. The accompaniments are always evolving. The pianistic writing of great finesse, with its findings, is rich, varied and perfectly performed. This music, which will delight pianists, is accessible to all types of public. About this edition This score is based on the 1973 edition, and not on the destroyed manuscripts. For this engraving, I was assisted by Orlando Bass so that the text conforms to the original. However and with the permission of Tamara Shamo (daughter of the composer), I corrected some obvious mistakes (octaviations, alterations, missing or misplaced articulations) and added some fingerings.
