The facets of love I first read several times the hundred poems of the "Book for you" by Marguerite Burnat-Provins (1872-1952) published by Editions de l'Aire, Vevey, Switzerland).

I have selected twelve poems from Marguerite Burnat-Provins' 'Book for you' (1872-1952) which retrace the curve of an emerging love and its slow decline.

I tried to transcribe all the facets of this love, at first trembling, then filled with passion, gentleness, jealousy, lightness, despair, supplication, and finally a certain sadness. Caroline Charrière, December 2009, Friborg, Switzerland
